Huh? When did it start doing this? My test server did not fail to drop the controlling terminal last time I started it from the command line, and the code that does that has not been modified since then. > daemon(1,0); [multics]-[~]-> man daemon No manual entry for daemon. Doesn't seem to be documented for Solaris. I rather suspect this isn't a standardized function.
