Thanks for updating the description. We might still need to change `closes: #74072` to `related: #74072`, since the hook still passes on the `stats.py` from #69270 (see my inline comment). I also think the exemption was not added for #69270. When #61350 added it, `stats.py` still had static `from airflow.observability.metrics import ...` imports, and #62127 removed them, so the exemption has been unused since then.
