Robert Stupp commented on CASSANDRA-10840: ------------------------------------------ bq. the INITCOND, within the unit tests, seems different between 2.2 and 3.0+ yup - that's correct. 2.2 stored INITCOND in serialized form (ByteBuffer) whereas 3.0+ store the INITCOND in the CQL literal form (String). Your unit test proposal is fine! I've just pasted it into the 2.2 branch and adopted it for 3.0+.
