[~sumanth.pasupuleti], would this contribution be better off as a separate page?
The existing `release_process.html` page is intended as a runbook, ie the "how"
to the process of cutting a release.
The contribution is broader in both context and aim, eg it is discussing
quality assurance and testing that leads into releases, snapshots which are not
releases and have nothing to do with process of cutting releases. I fear that
its value will be lost by putting into the existing page, as well as muddling
the purpose that existing page.
