Yes, as just source it can be included.
It can also only be included in-tree during _protocol evolution_.
I'm not sure how best to do this now that {{lib/}} is removed and in
{{.gitignore}}.
Is the python driver getting donated? Another alternative would be to download
snapshot/dev versions of the driver from the apache maven staging repository or
from nightlies.apache.org/cassandra/python-driver/ ?
