Not really - this is about preventing the issue at the source, not cleaning up after. The problem is that without API-level validation, users can keep creating resources with names like " my-vm" or "my-vm ", which breaks sorting and makes searching unreliable. This affects UX and can lead to confusion when resources appear out of order or don't match expected filters. The regex I proposed specifically targets Unicode separator, control, and format characters - it shouldn't affect legitimate unicode names in other languages since it doesn't touch regular letter characters. This seems like a reasonable improvement for data consistency across the platform. What do you think? -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
