andrijapanicsb commented on issue #3721: network: cleanup dhcp/dns entries while remove a nic from vm URL: https://github.com/apache/cloudstack/pull/3721#issuecomment-569795661 Right now() - configuration will be there, but the active leases file not - i. e. renewing an existing lease will not work, client would fail back to DHCPDISCOVER and again get its IP (but some older RHEL systems will lose any static routes there might be). There will be a fix in 4.14 (I logged an issue) to regenerate the dnsmasq.leases file upon recreation of the VR (which is effectively happening with VR reboot or stop/start since we recreate VMs root disk from scratch)
