Note that the wiki information is still useful, and it's fine if the information is different. Daffodil has separate instructions in the README than in the wiki that are targeted at different users. The README is focused more on a user that just wants to build and install from source, which is ideally just a running a single command or two--not necessarily setting up an development environment.
