I believe this is working as intended because the edits exist within the data the profiler uses if you make a multi-byte edit, apply the changes, then open the profiler. You must apply changes to the data before it is retained within the omega edit server. _However_, we could an an enhancement to the profiler to profiling against unapplied changes. I image there may be value in that if it is desired to profile the data for some reason without retaining changes. The issue with this is that the profiler would be limited to the data that is currently loaded as the _viewport_.
