@stricklandrbls, you're right that the changes need to be applied (pushed to the server) as the server is doing the profiling and _could_ profile the entire file, whereas the data editor sees things viewport at a time. With some fancy bookkeeping, it is possible to update the profile in real time if that becomes a requirement. Maybe an intermediate step is when sliding the profiler out, if there are unapplied changes, we can either _apply them_ implicitly or ask the user to apply the changes explicitly before allowing the profiler to profile.
