The change is re-submitted as a clean `main`-based PR: #14343. It adds the `password` grant to the Java client (`client_id:client_secret:username:password` credential format, `grant_type=password` token request), with unit tests and updated Spark/Flink/Trino connector docs. The old branch-1.2 based PR #10758 has been closed as it was conflicting with `main` and could not be merged.
