Closing: we decided not to hard-require catalog `jobOptions` at policy create/alter. Those keys can be supplied in multiple ways that `MaintenanceJobConfBuilder` accepts (short aliases, flat placeholders, full `spark.sql.catalog.*` keys, `spark_conf`, cluster `ircAuth` overlay), so a write-time check would reject valid configs and is stricter than submit-time behavior. Orphan `commitTrigger=true` is already rejected by content/DTO `validate()` on main, which `PolicyManager` already calls. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
