Raised a JIRA for this. https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HUDI-105 Also like your opinion on whether we should add a mode to DeltaSteamer to ignore the checkpoint and consume from earliest offset? Are you using DeltaSteamer in production , do you think it'd be useful to recover from situations like these? Also please join our mailing list for faster responses. Github streams are n't as discoverable :) We check it 1-2 times a week.
