Creating a public thread or ticket would allow community members to share their thoughts and feedback on the feature request, and add their support to it. This would not only provide a platform for customers to engage with the AWS Glue product team, but also help the product team to gauge the level of interest and urgency for the new version of Hudi. Additionally, it would allow community members to track the progress of the feature request and stay updated on any developments. I believe that such a public thread or ticket would be a valuable resource for the community, and would demonstrate AWS Glue's commitment to transparency and collaboration with its users.
