Hi [~daviszhang] and [~codope] , when we found the issue, the MDT was enabled 
when using the Hudi 1.0 backward writer to write a tv6 table created by Hudi 
0.14. I believe MDT was the issue (tracked in another Jira here: 
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HUDI-8820).

In the scope of this ticket, Athena can return the correct results even when 
MDT was enabled when using the Hudi 1.0 backward writer, but I suspect Athena 
doesn't enable MDT by default was the reason
