This issue was reviewed as part of the JIRA-migrated backlog triage. Findings: this describes an incomplete feature, not a bug. Currently supported: the keyed lookup reader path for the record index (targeting Hudi 1.1.0). Pending: graceful handling of Parquet files that carry no index metadata, which currently causes a NullPointerException during read. Keeping open.
