This issue was reviewed as part of the JIRA-migrated backlog triage. This is a development task under the RFC-80 epic (HUDI-7947, 'Support column families for wide tables'), not a bug. It tracks extending the underlying data abstractions (baseFiles, logFiles, fileSlices, fsView) to support segmentation by column family. Status: RFC-80 foundational work has merged (e.g. #11559, #11699), but this specific segmentation sub-task has no merged implementation and the broader feature is still in progress.
