This issue was reviewed as part of the JIRA-migrated backlog triage and is being closed as stale. The description is empty and the title names two types - `PartitionSnapshot` and `PartitionDescriptor` - with no interface, responsibilities, or consumer. A repo-wide search for `PartitionDescriptor` returns nothing, and no commit or PR carries HUDI-5134, so neither was ever built. The JIRA last moved 2023-03-10. Closing this loses nothing: it is a child of epic HUDI-4141 = #15194 (*"[RFC-64] Table Format APIs"*), which remains open as a roadmap item, and #15520 is a sibling being closed alongside it. Worth noting the underlying need was partly met by another route - partition-level metadata now exists as the partition-stats index (`PartitionStatsIndexSupport.scala`, and the Trino equivalent).
