This issue was reviewed as part of the JIRA-migrated backlog triage and is being closed - the work it tracks has been delivered. The description here is empty apart from the JIRA-info block, so the scope of "Phase 0" is defined by its sub-tasks. There is exactly one, checked against JIRA directly rather than inferred from GitHub: **HUDI-8258**, *"Document for instant/completion time clearly"* (GH #17274). That sub-task is complete. PR #19552 - *"docs(cleaning): document that clean metadata records instant (start) times"* - was **merged into `asf-site` on 2026-08-09**, +69/-3 across: - `website/docs/cleaning.md` - `website/learn/tech-specs.md` - `website/versioned_docs/version-1.2.0/cleaning.md` Since that merged to `asf-site`, it is already published on the documentation site rather than waiting on a Hudi release. One thing worth fixing on the JIRA side: [issues.apache.org](http://issues.apache.org/) still shows HUDI-8258 as Open at 0% progress, and HUDI-8894 as Open/Unresolved. The GitHub side is correct and the JIRA metadata is stale, so anyone triaging from JIRA alone would think this is still outstanding. Closing as already done.
