Thanks for this explanation @bvaradar, this makes sense to me. I think `getLatestFileSlicesBeforeOrOn` is slightly misleading when read out of context :( I just read the java docs and it took me a while to understand that, may be we can add more information in the java docs @umehrot2 to ensure correct usage of these APIs. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
