**nit:** Two Javadoc blocks now sit in a row, and javadoc keeps only the one
immediately before a declaration, so the `Polls {@code condition} ...` block is
dropped and `waitTillCondition` ends up with no doc at all. Could the constant
move above that block, or below the method?
