## Description
Prepend the 0.5.0 changelog, generated with git-cliff over
`release-0.4.0..release-0.5.0` on `release/0.5.x`.
Five entries (#751, #753, #755, #759, #762) were cherry-picked onto the
release branch, so their rewritten SHAs are invisible to GitHub and git-cliff
could not resolve an author for them. Those attributions were filled in by hand.
Part of the 0.5.0 release, tracked in #713.
