**TLDR:** root cause is a missing namespace: Hudi's Parquet-to-Avro converter (`AvroSchemaConverterWithTimestampNTZ`, copied from parquet-java 1.13.1) names every `fixed` after its field with no namespace, so the DECIMAL `typed_value` leaf collides with the enclosing `typed_value` record.
