cshuo opened a new pull request, #20462: URL: https://github.com/apache/hudi/pull/20462
### Describe the issue this Pull Request addresses Addresses #20233. Add repeatable end-to-end validation and setup documentation for the Helm-deployed Spark Connect endpoint and its gateway and BI clients. **Depends on #20329**, which in turn depends on #20243. This branch is based on the current head of #20329 and therefore includes those prerequisite commits. Please review this PR's changes in commit `ebcf02337d9d`; the PR can be rebased after its dependencies land. ### Summary and Changelog - Add live and offline checks for Spark Connect clients, gateway read-only behavior, external writes, recovery, readiness and selected fault scenarios. - Provide an experimental Superset SQLAlchemy dialect and engine spec, along with Superset and Zeppelin integration examples and application-level checks. - Add SQL-aware Spark Connect readiness checks, an opt-in live GitHub Actions workflow, and setup, troubleshooting and validation documentation. ### Impact Developers can reproduce the local Spark Connect and BI client workflows and inspect their results. Superset integration and the live workflow are opt-in. Direct client writes bypass the read-only gateway. ### Risk Level Medium: changes include a Spark Connect readiness probe and an experimental client adapter in addition to tests and documentation. Recovery and cancellation checks document observed behavior, not general guarantees for retries or concurrent writers. Validation performed locally includes offline contract tests, Spark Connect SQL and fault checks, gateway Agent/MCP checks, and a clean Minikube walkthrough using Superset 6.1.0 and Zeppelin 0.12.0. The GitHub-hosted live workflow has not been run. Flink access through object storage and Hive Metastore was not validated. ### Documentation Update Updated the Spark Connect chart, lakehouse, gateway and Superset adapter documentation with setup steps, tested versions, screenshots and limitations. ### Contributor's checklist - [ ] Read through [contributor's guide](https://hudi.apache.org/contribute/how-to-contribute) - [x] Enough context is provided in the sections above - [x] Adequate tests were added if applicable -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
