### Feature Description `Table::append` returns `AppendResult` (`instant`, `num_rows`, plus the commit file path and the first base file path), while every other write verb returns `WriteResult` (`num_writes`, `num_inserts`, ...), which marks a write that made no commit with an empty `instant` string beside an `Option` completion time. Callers handle two result shapes and a string sentinel for one outcome, and the Python binding converts both into one `HudiWriteResult`. Proposed: every write verb returns `WriteResult`, with `requested_time: Option<String>` (`None` when no commit was made) next to `completion_time`, and `AppendResult` goes away. The write API has not shipped in a release yet. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
