@rubenssoto Let me confirm the proposal is about adding more statistics to HMS during hive sync? So instead of manually analyzing each table now, if the stats are in hive tables, Presto can read those automatically for better query planning. On Hudi side we can try collect more stats. On HMS side we need to know exactly how these can be stored and interpretable by query engines.
