Process variables not declared in the bpmn file are currently dropped from the payload. Consider this scenario which worked in earlier jBPM versions: 1. Start a process instance with a payload that contains an undeclared variable: ``` curl -X POST http://localhost:8080/TestProcess -H 'accept: */*' -H 'Content-Type: application/json' -d '{ "myVar": "value passed in from outer space" }' ``` 2. Read the process variable inside the process (eg. a script task): ``` kcontext.getVariable("myVar"); ``` Expected result: The variable should resolve to the value provided in the payload, and persisted such as any other variables.
