Joseph Witt commented on NIFI-1520:
-----------------------------------
Thanks Sean. I think we need to do an 0.5.1 to address a new finding someone
had on the mailing list recently. I'll try to have this sorted for that. I'm
inclined to block both javadoc and sources generation for Nars/Wars for now.
The current LICENSE/NOTICE treatment within them is to ensure the convenience
binaries for them other than sources/javadocs are legit. My approach can make
it correct albeit less convenient. Then perhaps if there is call for it we can
tackle it in a more sophisticated manner like you're proposing.
I'll see what sort of middle ground I can find for now.
Thanks
Joe

> Sean Busbey NiFi 0.5.0 RC3 finding:
> ---
> * several -source and -javadoc jars contain improper LICENSE/NOTICE files
> (they cover things "in the binary artifact" that are not in the artifact
> containing the LICENSE/NOTICE file)
> ex:
> * -source and -javadoc for war packaging
> * -source for nar packaging
