I do wonder, though, if the the new `NXBOOT_PROGRESS` was actually necessary? Since this is only relevant if `NXBOOT_BOOTLOADER` is selected, that could have been used as the guarding `#ifdef` rather than forcibly selecting a hidden config setting?
