> (4) Google Search did not say specifically that Thumbs-Down Emoji is offensive for PR Reviews. I get the feeling that our devs are working in a Corporate Environment that finds the Thumbs-Down Emoji extremely disagreeable. So it might be good to be culturally-sensitive to these devs, because we value their contribution. > > (5) Personally I don't use the Thumbs-Down Emoji in PR Reviews because it's kinda passive-aggressive. Instead I use 👀 when I'm feeling passive-aggressive ;-) I think these are true; in Canada at least a thumbs-down would be considered good in a corporate environment either. I think Tomek is right that there should be a discussion, but I personally don't plan to use the thumbs-down emoji anymore. I did let the frustration get the better of me in those reviews where I used them, and didn't anticipate it to be taken as incredibly offensive. But, on reflection, I wouldn't use those emojis in a corporate environment and so on NuttX I shouldn't either! -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
