## Summary
- propagate the authenticated username through request handling
- populate the operator in both operation-audit persistence paths
- use `system` for requests without an authenticated user and clear
thread-local state after completion
## Verification
- `cd server && JAVA_HOME=$(/usr/libexec/java_home -v 21)
PATH="$JAVA_HOME/bin:$PATH" mvn test`
- 536 tests, 0 failures
