Rebased onto `master` (`222e0784`, after #1427), using the resolution from #1412 (§): - `change_invisible_duration` keeps #1427's `to_pb_invisible_duration(..)?`, then the receipt-handle write-back. - The tests from both PRs are kept; #1427's `new_simple_consumer_without_rpc` now builds on this PR's `new_simple_consumer` helper. `aac33e7e` → `fb1ce608`. `cargo test -- --test-threads=1`: 143 passed (lib); integration and doc tests pass; `fmt --check`, `doc` and `build --examples --all-features` are clean; `clippy -D warnings` is clean, and `clippy --all-targets` shows the same warnings as `master`. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
