Thanks for the detailed report. This matches known Debezium behavior: unchanged LOB columns in UPDATE events are emitted as the placeholder '__debezium_unavailable_value' (Debezium's 'unavailable value' marker). SeaTunnel currently passes this through to the sink instead of handling it. Two possible fixes to evaluate: (1) upgrade the embedded Debezium connector to 2.5.0.Final+ where DBZ-4321 improves reconstruction of LOB values, or (2) have the Oracle-CDC connector detect the unavailable-value placeholder and either fetch the current value or exclude the column from the sink UPDATE statement so the existing value is preserved. As a short-term workaround, could you confirm whether adding 'debezium.unavailable.value.placeholder' handling on the sink side (e.g., excluding those columns from updates) is acceptable for your use case? Also please share the sink connector config so we can verify where the placeholder ends up being written. <!-- streview-comment:10 --> -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
