Thanks for the detailed report. The '__debezium_unavailable_value' placeholder is Debezium's known behavior for unchanged LOB columns; DBZ-4321 (Debezium 2.5.0.Final+) addresses reselecting these values. Upgrading the bundled Debezium version is a reasonable path, but it may be a non-trivial change—maintainers should assess compatibility with the current CDC connector base. As a possible interim workaround, the placeholder value could be handled in the Oracle-CDC deserialization layer (e.g., by re-selecting the unchanged LOB from the source or by preserving the sink's existing value on upsert). Could you confirm whether your sink performs upserts keyed on the primary key, so a partial-update strategy might mitigate the issue? Could you share the SeaTunnel sink configuration and the Debezium version bundled in your deployment (SeaTunnel 2.3.12) to help verify whether the upstream DBZ-4321 fix would fully resolve this scenario? <!-- streview-comment:28 --> -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
