nzw921rx opened a new pull request, #12307:
URL: https://github.com/apache/seatunnel/pull/12307

   ## Purpose of this pull request

Make the scheduled core benchmark report easier to use as a daily regression
signal. The previous suite mixed end-to-end engine paths with format, queue,
row, IMap, DAG, and storage microbenchmarks, producing a large report with
unrelated workload dimensions.

   ## Changes

   - Keep three representative data-path scenarios:
     - source to sink
     - source, transform, and sink
     - source, transform, and sink with observability and trace enabled
   - Keep checkpoint coordination and the two incremental checkpoint
state-store operations.
   - Remove format, queue, row, DAG, metrics-reporting, and other IMap
selectors from the default core suite.
   - Keep every benchmark implementation available for targeted and full-suite
runs; only the daily core selection changes.

   ## Validation

   - `bash -n tools/benchmarks/run_benchmarks.sh`
   - `python3 -m unittest tools.benchmarks.test_run_benchmarks` (7 tests passed)
   - Confirmed `run_benchmarks.sh --print-selection` resolves exactly the six
intended selectors.

Maven `verify` was not run because this change only updates the benchmark
suite selector list.
