Classification: A / PostgreSQL CDC schema-change user-defined-type DDL. There is now related PR #12606, so please use that as the single implementation path rather than opening a duplicate. Its current test supplies `sourceType = "app.order status"` directly, and its quoting helper can preserve such a qualified spelling. That does not yet prove the reported CDC case: Debezium's `Column.typeName()` supplies the type name without its namespace, so quoting alone cannot recover a type in a schema outside `search_path`. Before this issue can be called fixed, #12606 needs an end-to-end CDC-to-PostgreSQL schema-change test with the type pre-created in the sink and covering a mixed-case type, a reserved-word type, and a type outside `search_path`. The fix must either carry authoritative source type namespace/quoting metadata to the sink DDL or fail with a clear unsupported-type diagnostic; it must not silently emit an unqualified name. The current Build also requires action, so the issue remains open. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
