@SEZ9 done — the note is now in the 2a/2b section of the [23 Oct table comment](https://github.com/apache/seatunnel/issues/10203#issuecomment-6357660652): the source of truth is the split's own watermark pair (`SnapshotSplit.isSnapshotReadFinished()`, both non-null), not membership in a finished-splits map; `finishedUnackedSplits` is rebuilt from that pair on restore (`IncrementalSourceReader.addSplits:152-153`), and `restoreCompletedSnapshotSplit` uses the same predicate.
