Hi Folks,
I just noticed that almost all releases are currently present on
downloads.apache.org [1]. This even includes 3.2.4, which is already
EOL, as well as all versions from the 3.4.x line.

To the best of my knowledge, we should normally keep only the latest
release on the downloads mirror, while older versions are moved to the
archive [2].

Does anyone know why things are set up this way currently, and whether
we can clean this up by moving the older releases to the archive?

bcc. private@ in case folks from PMC have some context.
