Also see one of the very first statements above *The next minimal enhancements
to core Hadoop include capability to do “updates-in-place” in HDFS*. I just did
not have time to get around to creating the JIRA [HDFS-9607 |

* RDF-ORC (native RDF support at ORC layer)
and so on.
