https://mvnrepository.com/artifact/org.eclipse.jetty/jetty-servlet/9.4.58.v20250814/dependencies
 needs this dependency - so it is best that we don't remove the ability to get 
download the dependency.
   
   The aim of this PR is to reduce the number of jars that the Hadoop code 
relies on directly.
