on the subject of dependencies, i've just finished
beanutils 1.6.1 which
(hopefully) should work ok with jelly and so you
shouldn't need to rely on
a beanutils SNAPSHOT.
Shouldn't be a problem.  We're already using BeanUtils
1.6 in the Maven build and it works fine.  GUMP also
seems happy with the HEAD.
there is a subtle bug in 1.6 involving dynabeans (i think) that dIon reported and which impacts jelly and maven. this bug i fixed in 1.6.1 and is a major reason why it was released.
