I am not sure whether you have right to access to jakarta-commons/xdocs/components.xml ... But, I made a patch for it and attached in zip format. (components.xml.zip// contains components.xml.txt)
This patch is for the notice of the release of HttpClient beta1 and JXPath1.1
Also, I think (different from the commons-httpclient's site, it seems automatically be publishing by maven) if you change to *.xml, then you have to build and create new *.html and apply to both, as Martin Cooper said .. I guess.
