hi Tetsuya

thanks for the patch.

components - i've applied a modified version of this patch. the only issue is that i'm not happy about linking to an apache release on a non-ASF server except through the official mirrors (i'm pretty sure that this is against ASF policy). this rules out linking to jelly on ibiblio.org.

fileupload - i've committed this patch and updated the web site.

pool - i'm reluctant to apply this since i'm not a committer for pool. i realize that this is the second time you've submitted this patch (and thanks for your patience) but could you post this patch again prefixed with [pool] so that the component's maintainers have a better chance to spot it.

Hello, All

First, thank you for the commit on the jxpath issue, Mike.

Here, I created new patches (zipped: components_pool_fileupload.xml.zip)

Contains:
1. pool_project.xml.txt
2. fileupload_index.xml.txt
3. components.xml.txt

Explanation:
1 is for the change of the pool sites' left side navigator. I often feel
the garbled characters in this site. should use
2 is for the notice of the "FileUpload R.C.1 Released" in the top
page of FileUpload .. (Also I wanted to change the link to
www.apache.org... if you click "Jakarta"-logo, you finally jump to www..
)
3 is for the many many changes on the xdocs/components.xml (Components
List) I think this is more accurate and user-friendly. Many links to the
downloadable area were added, and (I hope) it reflects the accurate
versions available now.

Please check these carefully and apply these.

Sincerely,

Tetsuya Kitahata.

Seems reasonable to me. I will go ahead an make the change unless any
of the jxpath committers have objections.

Just curious, where are you looking for page views?

I made the changes and updated the site for HttpClient. I left out
the
jxpath changes but would be happy to add them if others would like.

IMHO, I think it is better to change (add) the jxpath release notice, too ... as one of jxpath users.

http://jakarta.apache.org/commons/components.html
has as many access views next to
http://jakarta.apache.org/commons/
, as statistics will show.

If there's inconsistency in the components.html page,
commons-users might be frustrated or irritated ... I think.

Sincerely,
