Yeah, a link from the commons collections site might be helpful, but I don't know whether we really want to tell people to use that library rather than the "real" commons collections. We will make collections "generified" soon enough. I just don't think we've completely figured out how we want to go about it. There's been enough interest that it might be the right time to go ahead and figure that out and get started.

Might be worth making this a bit more visible. -----Original Message----- From: James Carman [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 25 November 2005 14:12 To: 'Jakarta Commons Developers List' Subject: RE: Making Commons Collections Generic Enabled Tim, It's already been done (http://collections15.sourceforge.net/). Hopefully we'll finally figure out how we're going to bring this code (or some version of it) into our codebase. For now, if you need generic support you can use the sourceforge project. James -----Original Message----- From: Tim Roberts [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, November 25, 2005 6:05 AM To: 'Jakarta Commons Developers List' Subject: Making Commons Collections Generic Enabled Are there any plans to make commons collections generics (as in JDK 1.5) enabled? If not I would be happy to do this. Tim. -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean.
