We were going to do a intermediate alpha release last weekend but was
held up. I would like to go ahead with that again. There have been
some notable fixes since alpha2, and some mistakes in the build process
(like releasing 1.4.1 built classes).
So, unless there are any gating problems, I would like to code freeze
now, spend a day or so doing cleanups, and then drop the 2.0 alpha 3
release Friday morning.
