depends on what you mean by 'being here'.

i've been a commons developer since the start (of commons) but i've only 
been a (commons) committer for six months or so. i've been a  jakarta 
committer (for another project) for (i think) eighteen months or so but 
was lurking around answering (occasional) user questions on various lists 
since before java.apache.org became jakarta.apache.org.

of course, there are a lot of people who've been at jakarta much longer 
than me. that's why you should read those jakarta pages. those pages have 
been developed over time to give good answers to these kinds of questions.
