please check your proxy settings, i had the same problem before ages. If you have running a proxy for port 80, check the file "servers" at (XP-box): C:\Documents and Settings\christian.grobmeier\Application Data\Subversion and create f.e. these entrys: [groups] apache = *.apache.org [apache] http-proxy-host = yourproxy.com http-proxy-port = 3128 For more info about this take a look at the svn dox.
