Hi all,
I'd like to know if there have been advances on the front of Python 3
support. I know there's an experimental branch of Shapely
http://github.com/sgillies/shapely-3k but it hasn't been updated since
2008.

With Python 2.7 scheduled as the last release in the 2.x development
line, I think it's worth starting to do some real-world testing of the
existing ports. This year GSOC has quite a lot of students working on
porting libraries like NumPy.

Ciao,
Stefano
