Hi, Folks!

My cousin Ed and I feel like we need to relax with others who understand us,
so we'll be attending the MetroAg Forum. (Hate to miss the CFSC conference,
but Cherry Hill is just a bit too long away with all the visitors who want
to see the community garden and labyrinth for themselves as development
plans grind on.)

Anyone else planning to attend the MetroAg Forum?

I am beginning to think that we sustainable ag folks are slowing breaking
through to the mainstream. So far, almost all of the political folks who
have visited the garden/labyrinth have said "Of course you don't want to
abandon your soil." (The first sketch plan would have paved over the
community garden/labyrinth and given us a "community planting area" 1/3 the
size of our current site and shoved about 200 feet to the north)

"Of course"????? This is real progress -- 10 years ago, everyone would have
looked at a community garden and said "Why can't you just move? Dirt's just
dirt, right? What's the big deal?"
