I am trying to compile information of amazing farms around the country that are started and/or worked by young farmers - and will need trained hands to help keep the farming alive and growing. Each year we train 30-some young adults in organic sustainable farming - everything from milking goats to butchering poultry and planting vegetables for our 60-family CSA or with children in afterschool programs. As part of the training, we hope to connect the young farmers with experiences in agriculture beyond Texas. So basically what I'm hoping is that we can begin networking farm opportunities for farms in need of eager young folks who know what they are doing - or to send those who are interested in gaining more experiences to us at World Hunger Relief, in Waco, TX, or similar intentional training grounds.
Please feel to pass along farmer positions if you need help. Or let me know of great resources that will help us in the agrarian revolution.
